Art of Living Botswana organised free-food camps and standup pledges in:
Gaborone City
- Mmopane and Gakuto villages: 400 orphans and vulnerable children 50 adults participated and took pledge
- Religious Organisations (Sikh communtiy, Iskcon society, Hindu society, Swaminarayan): 800 adults took pledge &donated food &cash
- Schools (Livingstone Kolobeng College, Legae Academy, Bothlale Primary, Broadhurst Primary) : 2000 students, 200 teachers
- University of Botswana: 200 students took pledge on-campus
- Supermarkets ( Square Mart, Lulu Bananas, Ms Veg, TransAfrica, Pula Sales, JustBread, Butterfield): 100 adults
- Organisations (Project Concern International, Motovac, Nandos, BECI): 340 adults took pledge
Francistown - Free lunch and pledges
- Monarch by Rotarians and Kings foundation - 175 destitude kids
- Lephoi Center, Monarch - 50 visually impaired children
1. Food camp in Mmopane village- 200 orphan kids attended & 20 adults along with 14 AOL
volunteers. All took pledge
2.Botswana
Association of Sikh Community- Standup Pledge was
taken by 100 people . The Sikh community there would be donating the food items
for our next food camp.
3.Hindu society Of Botswana-
-standup pledge was taken At Mr Loona residence in the event Of Akhand ramayan
by 120 people
-Hindu Temple in the evening discourse the
pledge was read where 100 people attended
-ISCKON temple- 150 people took pledge
-Swaminarayan Temple- 300 people took pledge .
4. Schools - Livingstone Kolobeng College - 650 children and 55 teachers took the pledge
- Bothlale Primary School - 400 children and 40 teachers took the pledge
- Broadhurst Primary - 500 children and 30 teachers took the pledge
- Legae Academy - 500 children and 50 teachers
