The Stand Up and Be Counted will happen during regularly scheduled Sunday service of the Unitarian (and Universalist) church in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.

I will teach a lesson on poverty-what it is, why it happens, and show a video. I will then show the Stand Up video and give the students the option to stand up against poverty.
The middle year students at Westmount Elementary School in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada will get together at 11:00am to raise anti-poverty awareness and to stand together for 60 seconds.

Forum with video and guest speakers on recruitment of child soldiers in northern Uganda, combined with speakers from anti-gang recruitment programs in Regina.
