Event Description:
The CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT OFFICE OF MSU-IIT (Iligan City, Philippines) in cooperation with the KASAMA (MSU-IIT Student Council) presents this concert for a cause about the current realities of the world, particularly in the Philippines – the issues on poverty, global warming and war. This concert is in commemoration of the Institute’s 40th (Ruby) Charter Anniversary.
The MSU-IIT Echoes Band, resident band of MSU-IIT under the supervision of CDO, expresses their strong determination to end some of the most challenging and vexing problems facing the world today through their music and reaching out to the youth to be involve in other worthwhile activities that promote awareness on the issues like extreme poverty, disease and environmental degradation could be overcome with the global awareness.
With these issues, one of the most important and significant statement was created, granting hope and a fostering a goal to unite, and consequently solve some of the worlds most pressing and urgent concerns. Inspiring hope that the world, complicated and divided as it is, can come together to take on great challenges to eradicate extreme hunger and poverty, achieve universal primary education, and ensure environmental sustainability.
The Echoes Band is calling the youth to STAND UP & SPEAK OUT! Be a part of this humanitarian advocacy and answer the famous Davos Question.
