On Friday Oct. 17, during our homeroom meetings, the students and staff at St. Joseph High School in Saskatoon Canada will gather in the hallways and collectively pledge to stand against poverty. St. Joseph is the home of the Guardians and we believe it is our responsibility to care for the community through service to others. The event will begin with prayer, a pledge to support the MDGs and a promise to take action throughout the school year to remind our community of the need to end extreme poverty in neighbourhoods near and far. St. Joseph High School is on 115 Nelson Road in Saskatoon. Friends and family are invited to join us.
