Record
- During your event, gather everyone together and have them sit down or kneel
- Ask everyone to Stand Up together for 1 minute
- Count the number of people participating (you can estimate for big groups)
- Capture videos, photos, and audio from your event if possible

Immediately After Your Event
Report
- Go to StandAgainstPoverty.org and login with your username and password
- Follow the link to your event and report the number of participants (if you didn't register your event ahead of time you will need to create an account first)
- Upload and share your images, video and audio from your event
- YOU JUST HELPED BREAK A GUINNESS WORLD RECORD!
The final figure of people Standing Up is a massive total of 43,716,440 participants in at least 6,540 events around the globe spanning 127 countries. They broke the world record - set last year at 23.5 million - for the largest number of people to “Stand Up Against Poverty” in 24 hours.
